Eligibility Requirements
EU/EEA Bank Partnership or PSD2 License – Firms must partner with a SEPA-eligible bank or hold a Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2) license.
IBAN Issuance or BaaS Access – Institutions need the ability to issue International Bank Account Numbers (IBANs) or access them via a regulated Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) provider.
Compliance with EPC Scheme Rules – Adherence to the European Payments Council (EPC) SEPA scheme regulations is mandatory.
